Born December 10, 1985, she began her career as a child actress, gaining recognition as Olivia Kendall on The Cosby Show (1989–1992) and later starring as the titular character in Disney Channel's groundbreaking series That's So Raven (2003–2007), which became the channel's highest-rated and longest-running series at the time.
Her extensive film and television credits include the Dr. Dolittle franchise, The Cheetah Girls series, College Road Trip, and voice work in Kim Possible and the Tinker Bell franchise. She successfully transitioned to adult roles, starring in and executive producing the spin-off series Raven's Home (2017–2023), making her Broadway debut in Sister Act (2012), and serving as co-host of ABC's The View (2015–2016).
